How I Cut My Weekly Planning from 2 Hours to 20 Minutes

A simple Notion system that trims the fat from your weekly review without losing the big picture.

I used to dread Monday mornings. Not because of the work — because of the planning. I'd open a blank Notion page, stare at it, and slowly piece together my week. Two hours later, I'd have a list that was already outdated.

So I built a template that forces a different approach: start with your top three priorities, then batch everything else into time blocks. No more endless sub-tasks. No more color-coded tags that mean nothing.

The result? My weekly planning now takes 20 minutes flat. I review my calendar, drop in my priorities, and I'm done. The template automatically rolls over unfinished tasks and surfaces them on Monday — so nothing falls through the cracks.
